Machining
  • This step is for processing the parts to be used during the manufacturing of the damper.
  • The steel sheet is first laser cut and then it is processed by bending.
Welding
  • It is the stage of making the overall outer housing of the damper and proceeds with Fit up-Welding-Calibration-NDE(PT).
  • Welding works using GTAW according to the WPS, and once the NDE (PT) is completed the task is finished by Pickling & Passivation.
Assembly
  • This is the step of assembly where the receiving inspected damper body, blade, and various accessories and this step brings in process of line qc or self-inspection.
  • Once assembly of the damper body has been completed, the entire assembly process is finished by the installion of the actuator for driving.
Test
LEAK TEST
  • To check the sealing properly, the damper connected with sealing air fan is tested.
HEAT TEST
  • The integrity of the damper must be checked through the heat test as the actual damper will be exposed to high temperatures exceeding 350℃.
